Terms and Conditions

  • Presteigne Valeting reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be made available on our website and social media channels as well as on documents sent to you upon booking.

  • Revised terms and conditions will take effect immediately upon being posted. We recommend reviewing the terms and conditions before every booking.

1 / Services Provided.

  • Presteigne Valeting offers various vehicle valeting services including interior and exterior cleaning. These services are listed on the website, social media, leaflets and can be sent individually upon request.

2 / Bookings
  • All bookings must be made in advance via, email, phone or in person. Whilst we will endeavour to book you in with your preferred date and time, this may not always be available, and you will be offered the next opportunity.

  • Upon Booking you will be provided with a copy of these terms and conditions either by email or a hard copy, before dropping your vehicle off please ensure you have read them.

  • Bookings can be made up to 3 months in advance, reoccurring bookings can be arranged upon request.

3 / Cancellation
  • In the event of poor weather conditions or events out of our control (power cut etc) we may have to reschedule the valet for your own safety and our staff. This will be at no additional cost.

  • You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment without incurring a cancellations fee.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking will be subject to a 50% charge of the service cost.

/4/Pricing & Payments.
  • Payments for services must be paid for upon completion or prior to the service, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payments can be made via Cash, credit/debit card or Bank transfer.

  • Upon Booking we will ask you for details of your car and the condition, this will be used to give you an estimate of pricing and timing. This along with the advertised prices should be used as a guide only and not a guarantee.

  • Presteigne valeting reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition.

  • Presteigne Valeting reserves the right to amend the price during the valet should it differ from the condition stated upon booking.

  • Presteigne Valeting reserves the right to change pricing structure at any time.

4a.                    Pet Hair- Vehicles with excessive Pet hair will be charged an extra £10-£30 due to the length of time this adds on to the Valet and the used of specialist tools.

5 / Refunds
  • If you are dissatisfied with the service provided by Presteigne Valeting, please contact us within 24 hours of collecting your vehicle to discuss a resolution. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

6/LIability 
  • Presteigne Valeting takes every precaution to ensure that your vehicle is cared for and treated with respect.

  • All Vehicles are cleaned and valeted at the customer’s own risk.

  • If an engine bay clean is booked, you must read and sign the additional disclaimer before you agree to proceed with the service.

  • Presteigne Valeting are not liable for any preexisting damage or wear to the vehicle that may become more apparent during and after the cleaning process.

  • We will not be responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from, ill-fitting trim, loose or faulty parts, broken wing mirrors held on with tape etc. Please advise us of any potential problems before the cleaning process commences.

  • A full walk around video will be taken of the vehicle before work commences. These will be stored for 28 days and then will be deleted. No personal details plates will be shown and are for use of Presteigne Valeting only if a complaint becomes apparent.

7/Customer responsibilities
  • It is the customers responsibly to remove all valuable and hazardous items before the service is commenced.

  • It is the customers responsibility to remove any child seats prior to arrival, and it is their responsibility to replace the car seat.

  • Excessively dirty vehicles or in poor condition with be subject to additional charges due to extra labour and extra products required.

  • If upholstery cleaning has been booked, we cannot guarantee the seats will be fully dry by the time the car is collected, we will place a plastic cover over the seats and the car will need to be left with air circulation to ensure full drying.

8 / Service Limitations
  • Whilst we will make every effort to provide excellent results, some imperfection, such as deep scratches, stone chips and paint defects, may not be fully correctable through valeting and polishing.

9 / Privacy Policy
  • All your personal data is safe with us. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

  • We may take photos of your vehicle for our own social media accounts and advertising. No personal information will be shown on these. However, if you wish for your photos to be NOT shown on social media, please let us know.
